About AITN

Animals in the News was started by Sarah Wentela with help from her friend Breanna Rigg.  It started out as an e-newsletter sent from Sarah's email and eventually Sarah and Breanna made AITN it's own email, twitter, and website.  The website has since been taken down and issues of the e-newsletter are no longer sent out, but it is with much hope from Sarah that this blog will replace the website and e-newsletter while still showing the history of this great idea of spreading animal rescue awareness and teaching people about all animals!
